Week Ten: Indian

This week I wore a full on Indian costume! It was very feathery. Anyway when I came in today I made loud tribal noises and then entered. It was quite a scene. After I played my first piece for her she told me it was a really beautiful song and I said "thanks it is the song of my people." also I signed in as Pocahontas Young. Aaha!

 Tribal Rain dance.

Week Nine: Footie PJs

I was very tired that week so Pajamas just felt like a good idea. I wore my blue panda footie pajamas and my hair in pigtails! Also I put all my books in a pillow case lol. When I walked in I stretched and yawned for a while and then sat down. Almost everything I said I followed up with a bid yawn. When I signed in I started to right my name and then acted like I was to tired and didn't finish. #tiredgirlprobs.
After a little while A.J. turned around to get something and I pretend to fall asleep on the piano! haha Then as I was leaving I said "Good Night!...um i mean Goodbye!

Week Eight: Beethoven

On this fine day I decided to dress up in an old conductor jacket with tails on the back! Its a very funny jacket. It makes me feel alive. Also I drew a mustache on my face because it felt right. So when I got there I signed in as Ludwig Von Beethoven! Then I started conducting a fake symphony with a pencil (makeshift conductor stick lol). It was very fun!

Week Seven: Star Wars!

This Tuesday I wore my Jedi robe and carried around a blue Light saber. So when I came in I signed in as Luke Skywalker, it was totes fun. Then when I got to the piano I picked out my first song and set it on the piano. When she looked at me I hovered my hands over the keys and said in my best Darth Vader voice , " The force is strong with this one." Ahah she didn't really get it. A. J. thought it meant I practiced my song a lot ( but i didn't..). Also as I was leaving Instead of bye I said "May the force be with you!" I should have told her she was my father but there is another time for that.

AHH! Why'd you cut off my hand!

Week Six: Flight Suit

This Tuesday I wore my dad's old flight suit to piano. When I walked in I said,"Sorry I'm late. I just landed a C5 in Antarctica." Throughout the lesson I said "Sir yes Sir!" to everything she said! One time she said she was a Ma'am and I said, "That's not as fun, sir." And every so often I would salute her. My favorite part is when I told her, "My only regret is that I have but one life to take piano lessons." (lol so not true) Also I signed in in the sign-in book as Lt. Colonel Katelyn Young. Sooo fun!

Week Five: Kimono

I decided to go oriental that week. I showed up wearing my mom's kimono from Okinawa and chopsticks in my hair. When I walked through the door I said "Konichiwa. No English," in my best Asian accent. It went on for a while, she saying piano stuff and I saying no english in my Asian voice. Haha! Also, I signed in her sign-in book with random symbols that looked Japanese. It was great!

Week Four: Movie Star

When I showed up that week in a movie star costume, there was a girl finishing up her lesson inside. It was so funny to see the looks on their faces when I walked in. I told them I was just on the set of my new movie before I came. The big gold sunglasses I wore kept slipping off my face, and she asked if i wanted to take them off. I said no.

Week Three: Pumpkin

So the third week I wore a pumpkin costume from halloween four years ago. I told Amy Jo I was at a photo shoot in a pumpkin patch!

Week Two: Harry Potter

The next week, I went wearing a full on Harry Potter costume even with a scar! I told her I had tripped and fallen on my head and she was concerned, but when she looked closer she realized it was just marker. LOL!

Week One: Graduation

To just top the weird ice cream sundae with a cherry, I decided to wear a costume to piano... (Gotta love my metaphors.)
The first week I went in a graduation gown. When she asked me why I was wearing it, I told her, "It was really cold outside, so I grabbed this old thing from my closet. It's actually quite warm. You should try it." Haha it was really fun and she took a picture of me.

Intro

So I have this piano teacher, Amy Jo Sawyer. She is a very serious, perfect lady that plays the piano, accordion, and the organ. Most people are a little intimidated by her...but i am brave.

This is the one and only...

Like I said she is very serious and doesn't get a lot of jokes. Because of that I am super weird when I am there. When she is not looking i make weird faces, I often growl at her when i am angry, and just say stupid things. One time after being weird one day she said to my friend who was watching my lesson, "Your friend here is an idiot!" (Please read in your highest old lady voice.) Hahaha. So as you can see its never boring when i am there, as Amy Jo would say.
